Dr Harriet Hurrell is a research fellow in structural cardiology at King’s College London and St Thomas’ Hospital. Harriet qualified in 2011 from Newcastle Medical School. She then went on to train in Cardiology in South London Deanery. During this time, she developed a strong interest in interventional cardiology and valvular heart disease. She is now pursuing research in the field and her area of particular research interest is TAVI with respect to valve leaflet thrombosis. Current research interests: TAVI thrombosis, virtual fractional flow reserve and deep learning.
