Dr Karine Grigoryan is originally from Yerevan, Armenia. She obtained her medical degree from the Yerevan State Medical University. She completed the residency program in Internal Medicine at Armenia Medical Centre and Cardiology training at Yerevan Cardiology Institute. She worked as a general cardiologist at Yerevan Cardiology Institute till 2011 when she moved to the UK. After obtaining full GMC registration in the UK she worked in General Medicine, Cardiothoracic Intensive care and Cardiology departments at different UK hospitals. She gained BSE accreditation in Echocardiogrphy in 2014 and Membrship of Royal College of Physicians in 2016. From 2018 she works as a Senior Clinical Fellow in Cardiology and Cardiac Imaging  at GSTT. Dr Karine Grigoryan has a particular interest in advanced Echocrdiography, Cardiac CT and Heart Valve diseases. She has 15+ years experience in general medicine, cardiology and echocardiography. She authored articles in cardiology journals and presented at several national cardiology conferences. She takes an active part in clinical research.  In her free time, she enjoys spending time with her family, travelling and hiking.
